Promises Promises

After living in London for 6 years, rehearsing and recording with many artists, Glen returned to Birmingham with this, his first solo album. Filled with original compositions in a mixture of soft jazz styles, it shows an already developed sense of melody and structure, the pieces organically developing and growing. Tracks such as The Calling, Moondance and Dreaming all stand comparison with the likes of Kenny Gee and Eric Marienthal. Others (and I'm thinking specifically here of Spirit of 69) feature great solo performances on alto sax, curtesy of Simon Bates
