A mixed bag of events last month with my thoughts very much on the Job interview. Lots of preparation here paid off and I am now one of four Commissioners for the Music Education Hub in Walsall :) I fear in the short term this will have a detrimental impact on my music making; but it will only be, short term!!

The Ballet album is all but complete now. Track order is sorted (the number of permutations for 25 tracks was outrageous; remind me never to have that many again!) Artwork done, subject to the artist Judith Desrosiers giving permission for me to use her artwork as the album cover (I've popped what I would like up on the Ballet page for you to have a look at- hope she likes it) The photos of me were taken in a cemetary (!) in Kenilworth which has an old abbey ruin. Sarah Hill (who owns gecko-photography) was absolutely ace with the camera - she took the shot of me at the top of this page...

Poster design for the Help4Heroes recording event now complete and at the printers. If anyone knows string players or female singers who would like to get involved (24th July is D day - or should that be R day!)) please direct them to my Facebook page or else here

Sonia Ruth and I got together for an afternoon in the music room and recorded demo vocal tracks for some of the new Mad Songs project. I'm sooo looking forward to finding time to working on these...

Last Sunday I spent the day archiving old recordings from cassette. At some point (ahem!) I shall collate these into some sort of presentation (if, I can make them sound vaguely acceptable!) Don't hold your breath

Educationally, I've completed a string arrangement (grade 2ish) for the Adele frack (Someone like You) & for 3 violins I'm a Believer
